I want to start by thanking you all for your loyal and generous business over the past one to two years. It truly means the world to me! I have been doing my best to stick to my belief that animal care should be affordable for all, and I have put off doing another price increase. Unfortunately, due to inflation, the cost of living has raised a fair bit. Because of this, I need to change a few of my prices BEGINNING FEBRUARY 1, 2023. Please scroll down to the service menu to make sure you know of any changes in cost to the services you use. I understand that this may cause financial distress for some, so please, please reach out to me about payment plans if necessary. I am so willing to work with you!

I will be implementing a nonrefundable 50% deposit for all services above $150. Deposit will go to the total at the end of service, or the cancellation fee (scroll down to view cancellation policy)

All payments will now be due within 24 hours of the end of service, unless previously discussed.

My books will now be opened for the whole calendar year, no more 90 day out rule, but only one service can be booked at a time

Well, lets start at the beginning. My name is Becks, and I love life out here in Portland, OR. I have loved all animals unconditionally from the moment I came into this world; even my first word was "kitty" (much to my parents' chagrin)! I grew up with all kinds of animals around me, including everything from dogs and cats, to farm animals, and even exotic pets. I have always dreamed of making the non-human animals of the world my life, but never seemed to know exactly how I wanted to make that dream come alive.
Enter Miss Lady.

Miss Lady saved my life. She was a little chihuahua who came to me physically and emotionally broken in 2012, a time when I felt the same way as her. I nursed her back to health, and she in turn healed my soul with her loving trust. We were inseparable until the day she died. After she passed, I decided I would help bring happiness to every non-human animal I can, using all the knowledge I gained from my time spent with this extreme rescue case. However, I have way more room in my heart than I have in my home, so I started Miss Lady's Nanny Services to help care for as many non-human animals as possible- especially at times when their true best friends can't.

I offer true companionship during walking, sitting sessions, or any other time I am with your best friend(s)! They will feel safe, loved, and pampered in your absence while you will feel relaxed and safe knowing that I am certified in dog and cat First Aid\CPR along with experience with all types of ages and personalities.

DOG WALKING
Walking is an important part of a dog's day, and not just for fresh air and the chance to get some energy out! It is also important for their emotional morale, and to reinforce the dynamic the two of you share. You may be a wolf pack, but you are alpha (which is for their safety as much as it is for you and other humans), and a daily walk routine is a fun and friendly way to remind them!

SITTING
Worried about going on vacation and leaving your bestie(s) at home? You don't need to be anymore. I am certified in "Pet" emergency first aid, CPR,
and am able to administer medications, so even the idea of emergencies won't weigh on you while you are away! I stay in home with your best friend(s), unless otherwise specified by you, as they generally feel more comfy and safe in their home. I will feed, play, and walk at their normal scheduled times so they can feel as normal and happy as possible while you are gone. They will receive the utmost care and attention, and I will send you twice daily pictures and updates so you can stay connected.

EXOTICS
Do you have a best friend that isn't the "norm"? I am comfortable with them! I have had many reptiles, amphibians, and birds in my life and I adore them. I know how to pick up and handle different kinds of exotic animals safely, and will cuddle these unique friends as much as they need! I am comfortable with most feeding styles for the reptilian and amphibious babies. Unfortunately, if your favorite critter eats live meals, excluding insects, or other whole animals larger than pinkies that are frozen beforehand (i.e.-frozen rabbit), I will not be able to fulfill that need. I will, however, assist you in any way I can to get this taken care of.

Is your best friend a little...extra special? That's great! I truly love working with animals that need the extra time and patience. I am comfortable with all kinds of special needs, be it emotional or physical. I have worked with many dogs that have been branded "aggressive" and been able to find that sweet little puppy we all know is inside. I am also comfortable and experienced with very old and very young animals, and have no fear of the less savory aspects of age on both sides of that spectrum. Let's chat about your extra special best friend and find a game plan!

Not seeing everything you need? Just ask! I offer add-ons to any service at a small fee. Here are a few examples: Do your houseplants need love too? Taxi service for those critters? I got you! Is it shedding season? I will brush it out for you! Do you want to come home to a deep cleaned house? Sure! If you can think of it, I can probably help you with it, so feel free to ask me!

CANCELLATION POLICY
Sh*t happens! No need to apologize for cancelling, I just ask for notice if possible with a 50% fee for services cancelled last minute.

Becks is THE BEST dog walker/care taker. She has been walking my doberman-husky "pups" for several months. Whenever she shows up they become their bouncy inner puppy selves again, despite sore hips and such! I know this because she always sends a quick video or photo shoot from their adventures! It is not only great to see their excitement and bouncing (a nice reprieve to get that text when at work!!), I also like knowing what they have been up to (as in poops!). So, those midday updates send joy and important data with a time stamp, everything a dog mom could ask for! AND our dogs are slow to accept new friends, so the fact that from day one they have bonded is a true testimonial to her innate animal connection and skill!! We are SO lucky to have found her!
